november accountability tbr

So I’m notoriously bad at sticking to TBRs. However, as it is the penultimate month of the year, I wanted to try to read some books that I’ve been anticipating, but just haven’t got around to yet! If this goes well I might make another one for December.

The Iron Will of Genie Lo by F. C. Yee – This is the sequel to The Epic Crush of Genie Lo, which I absolutely loved when it came out! I’ve been anticipating the sequel for ages. I might need a quick refresher of what happened in the first book, though. This is why I don’t tend to read sequels – my memory is just so bad!

Full Disclosure by Camryn Garrett – There has been a lot of discussion of this book online, so when I was approved on Netgalley to read it, I was super stoked! I can’t believe that I haven’t got around to reading it yet.

Nudibranch by Irenosen Okojie – a couple of years ago I was absolutely obsessed with this author’s books! I don’t know why I haven’t read her new book of short stories yet!! Also, I’m trying to read more short story collections in the next couple of months, so this one will definitely work well for that.

Ghostland by Edward Parnell – I want to make more of an effort to read books that I have hard copies of, and this is one of my most recent purchases. It’s all about literature and ghosts and weird bits of the UK, so I think it’ll be a pretty good read!

Non-Binary Lives by Jos Twist, Ben Vincent, Meg-John Barker and Kat Gupta – this is another ARC, so reading this would be super helpful for my Netgalley stats. Other than that, I’m really interested in reading about being nonbinary from own voices authors.

Books I’ve meant to read all year:

The Prince and the Dressmaker by Jen Wang – I’ve got a goal of reading at least one graphic novel every month, so this can definitely be November’s pick. This looks like a super adorable young adult graphic novel that I think will warm my soul!

The Places I’ve Cried In Public by Holly Bourne – I’ve actually bought a hard copy of this book, so I really need to read it!! I loved this author’s last book, and I think that she will have some interesting thoughts to share about relationships in this one.

Do you have any books that you’ve been meaning to read all year? Let me know!
