december wrap-up

How time has gone by! December has been a decidedly weird one for me, as I broke my foot and have spent the majority of my holidays recuperating from that, both mentally and physically. I’m glad that the year is pretty much over – hopefully 2018 can only be an improvement over 2017.

2018 goals

Read 150 books: I have failed this one! 😦 I was so close at 146 books. Perhaps that was a little ambitious of me. But I tried, which is all that matters.

Try more genres: I read a bit more nonfiction than I normally do during December, but it was mainly YA, as per usual.

Read more ARCs: Noooooooope. I really need to get onto my ARCs.

Complete the 2017 Diversity Bingo:

Again, I was close, but no dice.

It sounds like you had one heck of a great December, Wendy. I think you should be super proud of all you accomplished! I know it can be challenging in December when seasonal affectiveness disorder pushes in, we all have a holiday hangover, and we look at our previous year resolutions and realize we didn’t quite make it. But look at what you *did* accomplish! I am most impressed with your Bingo card! There are a TON of books on there. Celebrate those successes!

What was your favorite book you read for Mental Health Bingo?

Now I’m off to stalk your 2018 goals. 😀
