stranger things book tag

Halloween is TOMORROW, FOLKS! I thought it was therefore time to properly pay homage to the creepiest/one of the most enjoyable shows I’ve watched this year. This tag was created by Sarah Sunbeemz!

EPIC INTRO: The opening sequence of Stranger Things is amazing and really grabs your attention. Name a book that grabbed your attention from the first page.

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS: Name a fantasy world you would like to experience yourself.

I loved the worldbuilding in this – the Panther underside of Lagos seems amazing! Also, what is a fantasy universe without a little bit of danger and mystery, right?

SQUAD GOALS: When Eleven met Mike, Dustin and Lucas it was a *mostly* perfect team. Name your favorite bookish group of friends.

The friendship group in Not Your Sidekick is absolutely golden. Especially Bells *sighs*

ABC’s & CHRISTMAS LIGHTS: Joyce Byers goes mad with grief after Will goes missing. Name your favorite mentally unhinged character.

Leo from The Art of Being Normal. He was so well drawn – I could 100% understand his psychology and thought processes.

THE UPSIDE DOWN: Name a book that was the opposite of what you expected.

MAD SCIENTISTS: Dr. Brenner likes to get freaky with humanity. Name the freakiest dystopian government you can think of.

Because it is very strongly based on what Nazi scientists actually did during the Holocaust.

DEMOGORGON: Name a scary bookish creature that you would not want to come through your walls.

The Other Mother from Neil Gaiman’s Coraline. I wrote an essay about why she is so damn freaky, and that scared me even more afterwards!

CLIFFHANGER ENDING: name a book that left you wanting more.

Happy almost Halloween, everyone! And if you want to do this tag, consider yourself nominated!
